About Us

About The Project:

Youthpreneurs Unite is an Erasmus+ project addressing a critical challenge across Europe: the gap between young people’s motivation to create social impact and their ability to transform ideas into sustainable entrepreneurial initiatives.

According to the European Social Enterprise Monitor (ESEM, 2021–2022), 85.5% of social enterprises are built on innovative approaches, while 91% aim to scale their activities. At the same time, 76.7% of social enterprises report financial and structural barriers as key obstacles to their development. These findings highlight both the potential and the challenges within the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Europe.

Youthpreneurs Unite responds to this reality by empowering young people aged 18–30 with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to develop impactful social enterprises that address real community needs. The project places strong emphasis on practical learning, innovation, and active participation, enabling young individuals to become drivers of social change.

At the same time, the project strengthens the role of youth workers, equipping them with targeted methodologies and resources to effectively guide and support young people in their entrepreneurial journey.

Through capacity building, collaborative learning, and transnational cooperation, Youthpreneurs Unite contributes to fostering a new generation of socially responsible entrepreneurs capable of creating sustainable solutions and strengthening local communities across Europe.

Youthpreneurs Unite Activities

The Youthpreneurs Unite project is built around a structured set of activities designed to support the development of social entrepreneurship skills and foster active youth engagement across Europe. Each activity contributes to a comprehensive learning journey, combining knowledge, practical tools, and real-life application.

The project begins with strong coordination and collaboration through project management and a Kick-off Meeting, ensuring clear roles, effective communication, and alignment among partners.

A key component of the project is the development of the “Youthpreneur Success Kit: Tools for Purposeful Entrepreneurship”, a structured toolkit that provides young people with essential knowledge on social entrepreneurship, business planning, funding strategies, and impact measurement.

Complementing this, the “Youth Workers’ Playbook: Strategies for Engaging Youth in Entrepreneurship” equips youth workers with practical methodologies, innovative approaches, and tools to effectively support and mentor young entrepreneurs.

These resources are further reinforced through the “Youth Social Entrepreneurship Academy: Skills for Impact”, a training activity designed to enhance the competencies of youth workers and strengthen their ability to deliver impactful entrepreneurship education.

The project also includes interactive dissemination and engagement activities, such as the “Youth Innovators Forum: Greece Edition” and the “Innovate and Inspire: Lithuania Youth Forum”, where participants will exchange ideas, present initiatives, and connect with a wider community of stakeholders.

Finally, the development of the Youthpreneurs Unite digital platform will serve as a central hub for sharing project results, tools, and resources, ensuring accessibility and long-term impact beyond the project’s duration.

Through this integrated approach, Youthpreneurs Unite combines capacity building, practical learning, and community engagement to support young people in transforming ideas into meaningful social enterprises

 Why Youthpreneurs Unite Matters ?

Social entrepreneurship is increasingly recognized as a key driver of social innovation and inclusive growth across Europe, offering young people the opportunity to address real community challenges through entrepreneurial action. However, building sustainable social enterprises requires not only motivation, but also access to knowledge, networks, and supportive environments.

According to the European Social Enterprise Monitor (ESEM, 2021–2022), 68.3% of social enterprises actively involve their members or employees in decision-making processes, highlighting the importance of participation, collaboration, and inclusive leadership within the sector. At the same time, 44% of social enterprises reported revenue growth, demonstrating the sector’s potential for sustainability and impact when supported effectively.

Despite this potential, many young people still face difficulties in accessing structured learning opportunities, mentorship, and practical tools that would allow them to develop and implement social entrepreneurial ideas. This creates a gap between interest in social impact and the ability to take meaningful action.

Youthpreneurs Unite responds to this challenge by strengthening the capacity of young people and youth workers through targeted training, practical resources, and collaborative learning experiences. By fostering entrepreneurial thinking, active participation, and community engagement, the project contributes to building a more resilient and inclusive social entrepreneurship ecosystem.

In doing so, the project supports broader European priorities related to youth entrepreneurship, social innovation, and active citizenship, empowering young people to become agents of change within their communities.
